  • NMTC Question Paper 2018: 

National Mathematics Talent Contest is conducting by the  Association of Mathematics Teacher of India and This is registered body founded on 27th June 1965, registered as S143/1965 under the societies registration acts XXI of 1860 on 29th October 1965. NMTC question papers are released in different categories like as 5th to 6th standards, 7th to 8th standards, 9th to 10th standards, 11th to 12th standards and for degree classes arts, science and commerce etc. The Question Papers are published in English and after that, it is sent to the candidates free.

  • NMTC Eligibility 2018:

Any Interested candidate or student who wants to compete in national mathematics talent contest can apply for better improvement in mathematics. The AMTI (Association of Mathematics Teacher of India) is notified that the only students are eligible for NMTC those who are V Class onward, means for 5th to 8th, 9th to 12th and for Degree Classes such as science, arts and commerce.   • NMTC Exam Date 2018:

The aim of the test is to encourage the students who have creative thinking. Last year the preliminary test was held on 26th August 2017 and the final test was held on 28th October 2017. The latest notification is not released at yet but released very soon on an official web portal. The expected date of the preliminary test and final test maybe in August and October month 2018.   • NMTC Result 2018:

NMTC Result will be tentatively released in the month of December because last year result was also released by the end of December 2017. At first, a preliminary test result is released and after that final result are announced on official website. Top three winners are awarded the cash award at each level of the final test. The first position is awarded by Rs5000, second by Rs2500 and third by Rs 1250. The finalist for a final level test is only eligible for merit certification.

  • NMTC Recruitment 2018:

Last year in 2016, 35 girls from 9th,10th and 11th classes were sponsored to write INMO 2016 among them Tamilnadu and Pondicherry states included. Expectedly 1.5 lakh to 2 lakh students will have participated in national mathematics teacher contest examination 2018 Because in 2016 (48th national level test) 1,41,394 candidates have participated from 793 institutions from all over India.

  • NMTC Previous Year Paper 2018:

The mode of examination such as preliminary or screening test or paper is taken by AMTI authority and after that Final exam or paper is taken by the selected institution. Previous year paper of mathematics subjects such as algebra, geometry, number theory and graph theory are all available on the authorised website of the association of mathematics teachers of India.

  • NMTC Official Website 2018:

The Association of mathematics teacher of Indian has an objective to expert the teacher in mathematics at all level. The official website of NMTC is www.amtionline.com.

  • NMTC Application Form 2018:

The latest notification will not release at yet. The previous year, notification was released on 15 July 2017. The application form of NMTC 2018 will be Announced in June or July month (tentatively).

  • NMTC  Answer Key 2018:

The NMTC answer keys are announced on the same day of the examination by speed post or declared online on official website www.amtionline.com. For 2018, it will be declared expectedly in August or September.

  • NMTC Stage 2 2018:

National Mathematics Talent Contest stage 2 is the final stage of the examination. Tentatively, it will hold in December month of 2018. The stage 2 or second level candidates are only eligible for scholarships.

  • NMTC Syllabus 2018:

The main areas are covered for the mathematics Olympiad for regional, national and international are algebra, geometry, number theory and graph theory & combinatorics.

  • NMTC Levels 2018:

There are five levels of participants in NMTC examinations such as primary (5th to 6th), sub-junior (7th to 8th), junior (9th to 10th), inter (11th to 12th) and senior (degree classes in art, commerce and science).

  • NMTC Classes 2018:

The Association of mathematics teachers of India has conducted the NMTC exams on the class basis such as 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th and degree classes that is commerce, arts and science etc.

  • NMTC Cut Off 2018:

The National Mathematics Talent Contests cut off 2018 may be released in November or December month (tentatively). Cut off will be declared after the second level test.

  • NMTC Books 2018:

There are 22 books for NMTC all level, but mainly are sample questions and solutions, RMO-INMO problems solving, the charm of problem-solving, gems from the mathematics teacher, muse and creativity of Ramanujan.

  • NMTC Notification 2018:

The Expectedly AMTI will be announced latest notification in may or June month 2018. The notification of application form, Syllabus, exam date, result declaration and for cut off or merit list are all available on www.amtionline.com.

  • NMTC Maths Olympiad 2018:

The maths Olympiad is the biggest exam of NMTC which is held on a national and international level. In INMO (Indian national maths olympiad) selected candidates are awarded by 10,000 rupees and In IMO ( International maths olympiad) selected candidates are awarded by 20,000 rupees.

www.amtionline.com has named the categories for easy classifications – as Aryabhata Contest (Degree Classes in Arts, Science & Technical Institutions), Ramanujan Contest (XI and XII Standards), Bhaskara Contest (IX and X Standards), Kaprekar Contest (VII and VIII Standards), Gauss Contest (V and VI Standards).

Pre-degree college mathematics is mainly included in Mathematics Olympiad (Regional, National and International). Instead of Multiple choice questions, essay type questions will be asked in the final test.

Out of these, only 10% are hoped to get selected for final test [28th October 2017 (Saturday) 1 to 4 pm]. The result of this 10 % will be published on 5 September 2017. By the end of the December 2017 final test results will be announced. Further, almost 35-40 students will be able to write Indian National Mathematics Olympiad INMO. For junior levels, in Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Gujarati and English levels and for senior secondary, only in English levels tests are conducted.

What winners will get?

Merit certificates will be awarded to those who will qualify final tests.
